Gamana pick
Handpicked by Gamana for quality, clarity of meeting point, and a strong local story.
Tell people you went sightseeing in Cape May. What actually happened is classified. In plain terms: your team explores on foot and takes on spy missions together. You will see Cape May. You will also see a side of your teammates that no dinner party ever revealed. The missions are only half the game. The other half is watching each other, because at the final stop your team votes on who might be a double agent. There may not be one at all. Plan on about 2.5 hours and 4 stops over roughly 2.5 km. No guide, nothing to download, no umbrella to follow, and as many coffee breaks as you like. Afterwards, your official report will say: sightseeing. The photos will say otherwise. Who it's for: - Friends, couples and families with teens: finally, a day out with more to talk about than where to eat. - Solo travelers and anyone new in town: join an open session and team up with other players. You arrive alone and leave with a team, which is more than most networking events manage. - Private groups: bachelor and bachelorette parties, girls' weekends, boys' trips, wedding parties, work teams and active over-55s. Pick the day; we will handle the intrigue. Book a private game for 1 to 8 players on a date you choose; a team of one works too. Prefer company? Join the open session every Sunday at 3pm to team up with other players. If nobody else books it, we let you know in advance so you can play solo or move to another date. Bigger groups play as several private teams. What to expect Turn up at Cape May Kiwanis Community Park by your departure time. Meet at the corner of Corgie Street and Madison Avenue, near Cape May Kiwanis Community Park. Your mission starts on your phones there and leads your team to 4 stops over about 2.5 km on foot, finishing at the last stop about 2.5 hours later. Only the meeting point is shared in advance; the rest is revealed as you play. - Bring a charged phone for each player, with mobile data; a power bank helps - About 2.5 km of walking; wear comfortable shoes - Outdoors in typical weather; if conditions turn unsafe, we reschedule you or refund you - The challenges suit teens and adults; younger players are welcome with grown-ups on the team - The walk between stops follows step-free mapped paths, and no stop is marked as inaccessible. Kerbs and paving are not checked on the ground, so contact us if you need full step-free access. Cancellation and changes Cancellation and changes • Plans change: cancel any time up to 45 minutes after your departure and choose a credit for the full amount you paid (valid 12 months on any quest), a free reschedule, or a refund of your full payment minus the non-refundable payment processing fee. • Still the only player one hour before an open departure? We email you how many players have signed up, and you choose: play the quest solo, reschedule for free, take a credit for the full amount, or get a refund minus the non-refundable payment processing fee.
Book your way
Bring your own group and keep it private, or book an open departure and be teamed up with other players. Teams are 2 to 6, and solo play works too.
Meet at Cape May Kiwanis Community Park
It is the only stop you know in advance. From there your phone takes over: no guide, no clipboard, nobody talking at you.
Four stops, one story
Each stop is revealed as you play. The route is built to be walked, and a bus or taxi is fine if you prefer.
Missions made for talking
Some need a sharp eye, some need the whole team, and most end with everyone laughing. Anything your team would rather skip can be skipped.
Save the best for last
The final stop is chosen for a reason, and the story saves its best mission for it. We will not spoil it.
Take the story home
You leave with the photos and a story you will be retelling for a while.
