Gamana pick
Handpicked by Gamana for quality, clarity of meeting point, and a strong local story.
Blend into Cincinnati, poke around, and make a few friends while you are at it. See Cincinnati the way nobody else on the street is seeing it, with a team who are all in on the same secret. The best cover story is simply having a good time, which turns out to be easy with a new group of people and something to do together. You are sent into Cincinnati with a story and a team of people you have just met. While the rest of the street goes about an ordinary day, your lot are comparing notes, arguing about where the story is heading, and building inside jokes at an alarming rate. The secrecy is doing quiet social work. Instead of small talk, your conversations are about what happens next and whose hunch to trust. There is nothing to perform for strangers and nobody watching but your own team. You can take the quiet jobs, reading or noticing or holding the camera, and still be right in the middle of it. It is not really about the hidden side of Cincinnati. It is about being in on a secret with a very good group of people. Know before you go • It is outdoors, takes about 2.5 hours and has four stops. The route is built to be walked, and a bus or taxi between stops is fine if you prefer. • Play solo or in a team of 2 to 6. Groups larger than 6 are welcome and are split into several teams. • Only the meeting point is shared in advance. The rest is revealed as you play. • Keep an eye on traffic, weather, opening hours and what is around you. • Open matchmaking departures run Sundays at 3:00 PM in the destination’s local time, so everyone who wants a team is pooled onto the same departure. Booking privately? Start any day, at any half hour from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM. • Plans change: cancel any time up to 45 minutes after your departure and choose a credit for the full amount you paid (valid 12 months on any quest), a free reschedule, or a refund of your full payment minus the non-refundable payment processing fee. • After the quest has loaded, temporary connection loss is supported and queued activity can synchronize when connectivity returns. • No paid attraction admission is required to complete the standard quest. • Still the only player one hour before an open departure? We email you how many players have signed up, and you choose: play the quest solo, reschedule for free, take a credit for the full amount, or get a refund minus the non-refundable payment processing fee.
Book your way
Bring your own group and keep it private, or book an open departure and be teamed up with other players. Teams are 2 to 6, and solo play works too.
Meet at Abraham Lincoln
It is the only stop you know in advance. From there your phone takes over: no guide, no clipboard, nobody talking at you.
Four stops, one story
Each stop is revealed as you play. The route is built to be walked, and a bus or taxi is fine if you prefer.
Missions made for talking
Some need a sharp eye, some need the whole team, and most end with everyone laughing. Anything your team would rather skip can be skipped.
Save the best for last
The final stop is chosen for a reason, and the story saves its best mission for it. We will not spoil it.
Take the story home
You leave with the photos and a story you will be retelling for a while.
